CHILDREN IN NEED - FUNDRAISER SET-UP!!

It is with great sadness that we report the loss of a neighbor Yasmin Rivera. Yasmin was a young mother of two, Kimberly 13 years old and Eric 4 years old. She was raising these children as a single parent. At the time of her death she was in the final days of her pregnancy. Her newborn baby Samantha was miraculously saved and will be taken care of by her father. Her neighbor Marta Reyes is currently seeking custody of Kimberly and Eric. Yasmin was known to attend the Spanish Mass at Our Lady of Good Council every Sunday. The Hispanic community organized a fundraiser last Sunday to financially assist the children during this difficult time. Marta Reyes the older children’s caretaker is searching for a larger apartment to accommodate her new expanded family.
